The Arts & Culture Club invites you to attend Embodied Leadership this Saturday, 11/21, from 2-5pm in KMC 1-100:

As Shakespeare writes, "all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players." Just as an actor plays Julius Caesar, great leaders are aware of how they project themselves from the world's stage.

Moving past vague terms like presence and charisma, Embodied Leadership cultivates deep insight into our largely unconscious patterns of perception, emotion, and action that result in the leaders we show ourselves to be. Over a three hour workshop, Dr. Carmela Bennett will work with you on your leadership. Beginning with a brief talk, much of the time will be spent individually and in small groups. You will work interactively with posture, movement, awareness, and communication that facilitate present moment awareness of habitual mindsets and action styles. By attending Embodied Leadership, you will learn to express yourself as the leader you want to be.

Sign up for the event on CampusGroups, as space is limited. Admission is $15.

With its Conversations in Creativity series, The NYU Stern Arts & Culture Club engages in a dialogue between the arts and business. We believe that art is a way of learning about ourselves and that with this understanding we will become more effective and fulfilled leaders.
