Subject: Stern Golf Club Kick-Off Today & Fall Classic Registration
Hi First_Name,
We hope to see you at the Stern-Golf Kick-Off meeting a bit later today in KMC 3-70 at 5:30pm. At the meeting we'll describe the club objectives, leadership positions, and the line-up of Fall events.
Immediately following the kick-off presentation, registration for the Stern Golf Fall Classic will open. This is our first major outing of the year and will be held at the Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, October 10th. Tee times start at 10:30am. In addition to individual honors such as longest drive, closest to pin and lowest score contests, we will feature a friendly competition between four teams of Stern MBA students. These teams will be assembled by combining full-time blocks with part-time core groups during a random drawing which will be held at the end of today's kick-off meeting. We are actively working with your representatives in student government to integrate the results of this team contest into block and core group games.
Golfers of all ability levels are welcome and we emphasize that the Classic is about playing golf for fun and meeting new people interested in the sport within the Stern community. We are partnering with the Part-Time Leadership Forum to bring you this event at a sponsored rate of $80 for members and $90 for non-members, which includes Greens Fees, Cart, Coffee & Bagel, Stern Logo Golf Balls, a Bag of Tees, and a BBQ dinner at the course clubhouse at the conclusion of the event.
Additionally, Early Registration will be available until 6pm tomorrow at the further discounted rate of $75. We have provided a link to the Fall Classic in the body of this email for your convenience.
