This year's Annual Golf Outing will now be on SUNDAY, SEPT 28, 2008
I apologize for the moving date again, but the 28th works best for
most people I have talked with. The location, time and all other
details remain the same. If any of you have already paid and cannot
attend the Sept 28 date, please let me know and your check/paypal will
be returned. The weekend date should allow for the greatest
attendance.
As I mentioned in the original invitation, Mansion Ridge is the only Jack Nicklaus-designed course in New York and
has held qualifier tournaments for PGA Tour events. For those of you
who are individual players not in a foursome, do not be discouraged.
The new date will give you more time to ask friends to come play with
you, and if not, as the event nears I will group people into foursomes
as needed.
If you are interested in playing on Sept 28, please help us with
the event planning and register early, (before the registration
deadline of Friday, Sept 19)

From Points South/NJ:
I-287 North or Rt 17 North or Palisades Parkway North or Garden State Parkway North to NY State Thruway (Interstate 87). Approx. 1 mile north of the I-287/Rt 17 (Exit 15) interchange, exit highway on Exit 15A - Rt 17 North.
**Take Rt 17 North through Sloatsburg (2 miles), Tuxedo Park (another 3 miles), and Southfields (another 4 miles), to Red Apple Rest - a large rest stop on your right. Just after it, turn LEFT onto Orange Turnpike and go approx. 4-1/2 miles to Mansion Ridge entrance on Right.
From Southern Westchester/CT:
Take
I-287 West to I-87 North/Tappan Zee Bridge (NY State Thruway), follow
NY State Thruway (Interstate 87) North to Exit 15A - Rt 17 North. Follow directions as indicated by "**" in "From Points South/NJ" above.
From Points North:
Take NY State Thruway (Interstate 87) South to Exit 16. Immediately after paying toll, keep right after the toll booth and get off at the first exit - Woodbury Outlet Blvd. Go
straight through the light on Nininger Road/Orange County Rt. 64 (1.9
miles) to the end. Make a left onto Freeland Street/Orange County Rt.
40 - bear left at fork. Go through the light at McDonald's (the road
then changes into Still Road). Continue 1.6 miles to club entrance on left (Road changes to Orange Turnpike just before club).
From Northern Westchester/Putnam/Northern CT via Bear Mtn Bridge:
Bear Mountain Parkway to the Bear Mtn Bridge (West), pay toll, then take exit off circle for Rt 6 West. Go
approx. 3 miles, follow signs for Rt 6 - Do Not take Palisades Pkwy!,
continue on Rt 6 West approx. 7 more miles, past bridges over the NY
State Thruway, to intersection with Rt 32. Turn Left on Rt 32 (South). Go approx. 1/2 mile
and turn Right on Grove Street. Go approx. 1/2 mile to intersection with S. Main Street, go straight (Grove Street becomes Church Street). Go approx. 1/4 mile to intersection with Ramapo Ave, go straight (Church Street is now also Rt 71). Follow Church Street/Rt 71 for approx. 2 and 1/2 miles to "Tee" (Orange
Turnpike). Turn Right on Orange Turnpike and go approx. 1/2 mile to Mansion Ridge entrance on Right.
