Details

We would be delighted if you would join us for an autumnal escape to two of New England's most celebrated wineries. This is a perfect opportunity to savor exceptional wines, immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of peak fall foliage, and enjoy delightful conversations with fellow classmates.

Here is a preliminary itinerary:

Saturday: We will begin our journey in the morning with a train ride to Mystic, Connecticut. Alternatively, those with vehicles are encouraged to drive and coordinate carpooling to help reduce costs for everyone.

We will then drive to Newport, Rhode Island to visit Newport Vineyards in the afternoon. Afterward, we will take a leisurely stroll through Newport's historic town center before gathering for a group dinner.

Sunday: We will visit Jonathan Edwards Winery, one of Connecticut's largest. The trip will conclude with some local sightseeing before we return to NYC by train in the evening.

Kindly note that all expenses for this trip, including accommodation, transportation, winery tickets, and food and beverages, will be your sole responsibility. NYU will not be providing any financial support. Upon registration, you will be added to a group chat to facilitate travel arrangements and trip planning.

Estimated Financial Contribution Per Person:
*Transportation: Approximately $150, with the potential for this cost to be reduced by leveraging carpooling arrangements.
*Accommodation: $100 to $200, contingent upon whether a single or double occupancy is selected.
*Dining and Refreshments: $100 to $150 for meals and beverages over the course of two days.
