Welcome to GEMS' Chess Series! 
Every Tuesday in room 3-130 we will be hosting chess events! Everyone of all levels is always welcome at all events! We’re here to foster a fun and relaxed chess-focused environment. 

This week’s event is especially for beginners. We’ll cover the basics of how the pieces move, simple strategies to get started, and give new players a chance to learn in a welcoming space. 

Also Included 
Chess Coaching! Have your classmates help you improve your game!
Free Play! Boards will be setup in the back of the room for anyone to come and play. 
Food! We’re doing out best to have food, and will update this event description when confirmed.
