Welcome to GEMS' Chess Series! 
Every Tuesday in room 3-130 we will be hosting chess events! Everyone of all levels is always welcome at all events! We’re here to foster a fun and relaxed chess-focused environment. 

Take your chess beyond the basics by exploring key concepts that separate casual players from competitive ones. We’ll cover ideas like piece activity, pawn structures, and planning so you can start thinking like a stronger player.

Chess Coaching! Have your classmates help you improve your game!
Free Play! Boards will be setup in the back of the room for anyone to come and play. 
Food! We’re doing out best to have food, and will update this event description when confirmed.
