Grads Give Back 5K

EVENT OVERVIEW:

Join us for the inaugural Grads Give Back 5K and help raise funds for Covenant House, a non-profit providing shelter and support for youth experiencing homelessness. Hosted by NYU Stern School of Business Langone Student Government, this event will bring together MBA and graduate students from throughout the New York area to support our neighbors in need. Network and make a difference in our community!  

Fundraise with a team and walk, run, or roll on Governors Island on April 7, 2024. Our fundraising requirement per participant is $125.00, where all funds directly benefit Covenant House. The separate registration fee covers an event t-shirt, bib, and event supplies for in-person participation.  Remaining funds will be donated to Covenant House. Don't miss this unique opportunity to make a positive impact with your fellow grads!

3 STEPS TO REGISTER!

STEP 1:  Register on CampusGroups (HERE) and pay the registration fee.

STEP 2:  Join or create a team on our fundraising page HERE.

Raise funds with the group that resonates with you the most. Please raise a minimum of $125.00. We will have prizes for top fundraising teams and individuals!

Example teams to join or create:  First Years, Orange Block (All Years), Arts & Culture Club, Yale SOM.

STEP 3:  Complete the mandatory event waiver which you will receive via email in advance of the event day. 

Please complete the three mandatory steps above. NO EXCEPTIONS.

YOU WANT TO READ THIS TOO:

• AN EVENT T-SHIRT & BIB WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.  Please pick up your shirt/bib week of 4/1 in the KMC lobby before class, otherwise we'll have it for you on race day.

• FOR THE VIRTUAL OPTION: Run the 5K on your own time. We encourage you to share your experience with us! @nyusternlsg (We’ll repost!) 

• THE 5K IS NOW OPEN TO PLUS ONES!  They need to register on CG themselves and meet the $125 fundraising goal too.
