In partnership with Stern SISA, Upstart Co-Lab is hosting two workshops and collaborative research sessions exclusively for NYU Stern and Wagner graduate students interested in impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and the creative economy.

Upstart Co-Lab - a sponsored project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors - is a national collaboration connecting impact investors, social entrepreneurs, and artists. Upstart is working to build the ecosystem for impact investing in the creative economy by making the investment case; assembling a coalition of leading impact investors who understand the power of arts,
culture, and creativity; and working with financial partners to bring investable opportunities to market. For more information, visit their website at upstartco-lab.org and review recent articles and coverage in Stanford Social Innovation Review, Fast Company, The Atlantic, The Hill, Next Billion, Artsy and more.

The sessions will include:
- Welcome and organization overview
- Orientation around the state of impact investing in the creative economy
- Introduction to collaborative research project
- Guided work session
- Optional happy hour

This is a great opportunity to network with fellow NYU students and gain training and exposure to impact investment research in practice. Students will receive acknowledgement from Upstart Co-Lab of their participation.

Please register using the link below ASAP (preferably by Friday 16th Feb) and contact Ward Wolff (MBA 2017) wardwolff@upstartco-lab.org or Shelley Hoy (MPA 2018) shelleyhoy@upstartco-lab.org directly with any questions.
