Pilotworks is a culinary incubator offering a shared commercial kitchen to budding entrepreneurs. This trek will include a 1 hour info session and tour of the facility followed by a 1 hour session with Pooja Bavishi, founder and CEO of Malai Ice Cream, and also a Stern alum. Launched in 2015, Malai marries together flavors and spices from Pooja's childhood through the inviting blank palate of ice cream. We will hear from Pooja on how she took her passion from a hobby to a successful business, and all of the hurdles and challenges along the way. We will also enjoy an ice cream tasting and you will have the chance to purchase pints of Malai to take home. Most importantly, all proceeds from the sale of tickets, plus a percentage of the ice cream sales will be donated towards the Social Impact Internship Fund, which provides a stipend to Stern students that want to intern in the social impact space during the summer.

Please note: no open toed shoes or sleeveless shirts as we will be touring a food facility.
