UBS Pitch Kick-off

NYU Stern and UBS are partnering to create a case competition that will drive the development and integration of new technologies to meet the today's business challenges.

This competition will connect students with UBS mentors in the field. Students are encouraged to propose ambitious and bold ideas focused on business disruption opportunities and new markets.

Challenge: Innovation and digitization are key strategic priorities for UBS. The competition prompt will be grounded in UBS Innovation White Papers such as AI and Financial Services, Digital Identity, and Fourth Industrial Revolution. Participants are asked to create an actionable product or service for UBS that uses machine learning to disrupt and innovate the financial service industry for a $1500 cash prize.

Competition Timeline:
October 24th Machine Learning Challenge Kick off Event: 12 pm, KMC 4-110
November 13th Submissions Due, abstract, Pitch Deck, optional prototype/ MVP
November 17th Finalist Selected, Two weeks to meet with mentors and faculty advisors to refine ideas
December 1st Final Presentation
