Join us for a talk from Danny Crichton on “How Politics Will Change AI.” Crichton is a fellow at the Manhattan Institute and Partner, Research at Lux Capital, where he analyzes the intersection of technology, growth, and power. He is also editor-in-chief of Lux’s Riskgaming publication. With a career spanning venture capital, policy research, and journalism, Crichton brings a rare perspective on how innovation is shaped not only by markets but also by political forces.
Previously, Crichton was managing editor at TechCrunch and a foreign correspondent in Seoul, covering semiconductors, data infrastructure, fintech, climate technology, and U.S.-Asia technology relations. His writing has appeared in the Foreign Policy Research Institute, City Journal, and National Review. A Fulbright scholar and Stanford graduate, Crichton draws on global experience to examine how domestic and international politics will shape the future of AI development and governance.
