Details:
Our panel of diverse international leaders will discuss the cultural differences of doing business in China vs. in the United States. It can be easy to think of American business practices as the way everyone does business, but different cultures teach different values. What might be polite in the U.S. may not be encouraged in China. By understanding the differences between the two cultures, we can gain the trust of our clients and business partners in foreign markets to achieve success. We have invited a group of Chinese business experts to join the discussion with experience in either working in China as an expat or with experience in cross-culture business.
We are proud to announce this year's panel speakers:
- Yong Ma, Executive Vice President, Bank of China
- Natalia Ruderman, Vice President, IBM (Former CFO of IBM Greater China Group)
- Wilson Lowery, Vice President, IBM (Former director of Finance of IBM Growth Markets
- Joseph Foudy, Clinical Associate Professor at Stern School of Business, Asian Economics and Management
