Details

Habitat for Humanity seeks to build strength and self-sufficiency through homeownership for low-income families. If you're looking for a more intense, hands-on way to volunteer, this is the perfect project for you. Volunteers with HabitatNYC may participate in all kinds of house-building activities, including demolition, framing, and sheetrocking. The day is long, but highly rewarding! A 1-hour break for lunch is included.
