Partnerships for Parks is a public-private program of the NYC Parks Dept. that supports and champions a growing network of leaders caring and advocating for neighborhood parks and green spaces. The organization equips people, organizations and government with the skills and tools they need to transform these spaces into dynamic community assets.

Stern students will be leading two important park clean-up and beautification efforts in our backyard of downtown Manhattan: Baruch Playground in the Lower East Side and Abe Lebewohl Park in the East Village. Activities will include weeding, mulching, landscaping, and general clean-up/maintenance in service of these important community spaces.

Gloves and other equipment will be provided, but please remember to dress appropriately for a morning of outdoor yard work!

PROJECT LOCATIONS:
All participants will receive an email on Friday (8/26) afternoon with their park assignment and all necessary info. Participants will be asked to meet at their respective parks no later than 9:45a.
*Update: If you are registered and did not receive the email with your park assignment, please contact Ward @ ward.wolff@stern.nyu.edu
