Beyond the hype and the heightened media attention, there are numerous startups and internet giants racing to acquire these companies, leading to a significant increase in investment and adoption by enterprises.

Join us for an amazing panel discussion with leaders in AI from Google, Amazon, and IBM Watson to learn about the present and future of this industry and how it will affect our lives. Guthrie Collin has spent 20 years creating business value through software and data. As a Senior Manager for AmazonÔÇÖs Ad Platform, he leads the software team conceiving, developing and launching data services powering Amazon ad systems and data analytics products improving marketing ROI for brand advertisers. His team of Amazonians solves daily petabyte scale data problems with AWS tech, Spark/Scala, RESTful services and Java while also prototyping innovative data products using SQL, Python and, occasionally R.

Before Amazon, Mr. Collin owned the digital audience measurement business at Nielsen enabling digital media publishers in 20+ countries to prove their efficacy to brand advertisers. Prior to Nielsen, he led tech platform development for real-time digital news delivery and news audience analytics during the last several years of his decade-long career at the Associated Press.

He earned his MBA with Distinction from NYU Stern (2010) after studying computer engineering (City College of NY) and journalism (University at Albany, NY).

Brian heads Google CloudÔÇÖs Customer Engineering team in the Northeastern US & Canada where heÔÇÖs lucky enough to help customers both really really big and really small adopt technologies that GoogleÔÇÖs been using internally for years. The recent attention on AI/ML both in the press and in GoogleÔÇÖs own product offerings have naturally led to a lot of customer projects in this space.

Brian holds a BS in Computer Engineering from UC Davis, and an MBA from NYU Stern (2009). He lives in Brooklyn with his family.

Charko Patterson is currently a Technical Architect in the IBM Watson Health, the Healthcare Technology group of IBM. As an architect, he designs software solutions and provides technical guidance to Product Mangers, Designers, and Marketers in Watson Health. He is focused on realizing Real World Evidence solutions and platforms for Life Sciences.

Charko graduated in 2009 from Pace University, summa cum laude, with a BBA in Business Management with a Minor in Information Systems. He is a proud father of a 18th month-old, and lives next door to Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Anat Lechner is a Clinical Associate Professor of Management and Organizations at NYU Stern. Professor Lechner earned her Ph.D. in Organization Management from Rutgers University in 2000. She is also the recipient of the GE Teaching Excellence award.

Professor Lechner's research focuses on how organizations can best structure to develop innovation capabilities and outcomes. Her research encompasses various areas including the effective leverage of multidisciplinary teams, leading adaptive change, and the development of workplace environments supportive of creativity and innovation.

Professor Lechner is also involved in Management Consulting and Senior Executive Action Learning. A former Research Fellow at McKinsey & Co. and the founder of a boutique management consulting firm, her client list includes Fortune 500 firms in the Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Energy, Food, High Tech and Retail industries.
