Matt Forti, managing director of One Acre Fund will come in to speak to our group and the Stern community about his organization and their efforts in supplying smallholder farmers in East Africa with financing and training in sustainable agriculture techniques.

On the board since the organization's founding in 2006, Matt Forti was One Acre Fund's first Board Chairman. Matt has served on several nonprofit boards and prior to joining One Acre Fund's staff in 2013, was a Manager and Co-head of the Performance Measurement Practice at the Bridgespan group. Matt received an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kapa from Northwestern University with a BA in economics and sociology.
