Spring Break SXSW Trek

Join us on a joint ESA/EMSA trek to South by Southwest for spring break!

Our current plan:

We're going to leave for Austin the weekend of March 9th (likely the Friday or Saturday). We are going to arrange group accommodations near the festival (if it's outside walking/public transportation distance, we will look into renting a van to shuttle people to/from the festival).

We have a student discount for badges for the festival itself; they will cost $312 each. You have the option of choosing which element of the festival you would like to attend (Music, Film, Interactive).

Attending the festival will be fairly unstructured; we want to let you attend the things that you're interested in!

Depending on interest, we can discuss organizing a meet-up with alumni in the area.

We're planning to stay a week (roughly the length of the festival), returning home the following weekend.

Total cost depends on the number of people that attend, but is currently estimated between $800-$1300 (not including airfare or food expenses) depending on how many sign ups. RSVP requires $500 deposit and final payment will be due December 15th. Deposit is non-refundable.
