Investors Panel - Temasek and CD&R

Join the GFA, SIMR, and PE/VC for a panel discussion moderated by NYU School of Law professor Winston Ma featuring Freddie Allen from Temasek and Kevin Smith from CD&R. Note that there are also limited spots available for a post-panel networking session at Jac's on Bond from 6:30-8:00.

Freddie Allen is a Director at Temasek, where he focuses on funds, co-investments, and secondaries. Freddie started his investment career in 2012, as a member of the EMEA private equity team at Hermes GPE in London. In 2015, Freddie joined MetLife Investments, where he focused on Private Equity Investments, before joining Temasek in 2018. Freddie holds a Master’s in Finance with a concentration in Corporate Finance from London Business School and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Institutional Limited Partners Association.

Kevin Smith joined CD&R in 2011 and oversees CD&R’s global fundraising and investor relations activities. He also helped establish and plays a significant continuing role with the Firm’s joint venture in India, Kedaara Capital. Prior to joining CD&R, Kevin served as a managing director at Lehman Brothers, a partner at New York Life Capital Partners, and an investment professional at J.H. Whitney & Co. Kevin has an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. from the University of Maryland.
