Music was the flagship entertainment business to be effected by the proliferation of the internet and the digital revolution. As such, the music industry has continued to see some of the most innovation in the last decade. It is not entirely clear what the new paradigm will be, but the stage is certainly being set. Will publishing rise in prominence relative to direct sales? Will iTunes still dominate while subscription services such as Spotify gain increased popularity? How are the major labels restructuring their strategies and infrastructure to be nimble to the changing landscape and boost profitability?

The answers to these questions will shape everything from how talent is developed to how consumers access the final product. This facilitated panel assembles accomplished music industry professionals who are actively addressing these issues to create a sustainable strategic advantage and lead their businesses into the future.

The goal is to offer a comprehensive and current assessment of the trajectory of music, with each panelist bringing a unique perspective from the major key functions (e.g. Distribution, Publishing, Management, New Media, Radio etc.).
