General
- This is a self-service room reservation module for KMC student meeting, reading, and phone interview rooms. To reserve other rooms in the KMC and Tisch buildings, please submit requests at: https://w3.stern.nyu.edu/rrs/rrs_user.cgi.
- Students are limited to reserve only 1 space reservation for any given time period.
- Leave Early Option: If the student/group leaves the space prior to the end of the reservation, then the owner of the reservation can select "leave early" option in the confirmation email to adjust the total reservation time.
- Personal Items Left Unattended: Even with a reservation, for your own security do not leave personal items unattended.
OCD Phone Interview Room
- The Phone/Virtual Interview Room in OCD is a quiet space that you can reserve from 9:00am-5:00pm on weekdays for your phone or online informational or interview.
- There is a landline in that room that can receive calls at 212-998-0950. You cannot make long distance calls from this phone. The room has cell phone service.
- There is a one-hour limit per calendar day.
- Type the company name in to the meeting title to reserve your timeslot.
Meeting rooms
- There is a 3 student minimum requirement for meeting room reservations.
- Rooms can only be reserved for up to 4 consecutive hours.
- Online meeting room reservations are only available for up to 2 weeks in advance from today.
- 15 Minute Rule: If the student/group who reserved the space does not show within 15 minutes of the start of the reservation, then another student/group can reserve the space by logging into the system, clicking on the current reservation (Net ID in the grey box), and selecting "didn't show." The 15 minute rule does not apply to reservations blocked by admin.
Reading room
- The reservation system is intended for the individual study desks in the Reading Room. The table areas are open on a first-come, first-served basis.
- There is a 3 hour time limit per calendar day. Students can make multiple reservations (i.e. two 1.5 hour reservations), but the total time for the day cannot exceed 3 hours.
- Students can only reserve up to one day in advance.
- Students cannot reserve the same desk within 3 hours of their last reservation

You can create an account by clicking "Join Groups" in the upper right-hand corner of the page and selecting "Student Activities" (there is no cost for joining).
How do I cancel a reservation?You can only cancel a reservation that you created. To do so, click on the reservation and click on Cancel.
When is a room confirmed?Self-service: your reservation is confirmed as soon as you create it.
Can I edit a reservation I made?No. You would need to Cancel the reservation and create it again.
How do I cancel another group's reservation if they don't show up?If the group does not show up 15 minutes after the start of their reservation, then another group can reserve the room by logging into the system, clicking on the current reservation (grey box), selecting "didn't show." The 15 minute rule does not apply to reservations blocked by admin.

How do I reserve a meeting room?
In order to reserve a 2nd or 4th floor meeting room,
- sign in to CG
- select the date, floor (KMC 2nd or 4th) and room you would like to reserve
- click on the white cell of the room and time you would like to reserve
- enter the meeting title, participants and number of hours for the reservation
How do I remove an attendee?- sign in to CG
- select the date, floor (KMC 2nd or 4th) and room you would like to reserve
- click on the white cell of the room and time you would like to reserve
- enter the meeting title, participants and number of hours for the reservation
You can only remove yourself from a reservation. To do so, click on a reservation you are part of and click on Remove Me.
Can I add myself to an existing reservation?Yes. To do so, click on a reservation and click on Add Me.
How many hours can I reserve in a week?28 hours. The system will tell you when you reached that limit within a 7-day time range.
How far in advance can I make a reservation?Students can reserve meeting rooms up to 2 weeks in advance.
Reading room:
How do I reserve an individual study space in the Reading Room (KMC 2-100)
In order to reserve an individual study space:
- sign in to CG
- select the date, location (KMC 2-100 North or South) and desk you would like to reserve
- click on the white cell of the desk and time you would like to reserve
- enter the amount of time (up to 3 hours) for the reservation
