Real Estate Financial Modeling Workshop | Training by Wall Street Prep

This intensive one-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to real estate financial modeling, equipping participants with the foundational skills required to pursue a career in commercial real estate. From mastering the fundamentals at the junior level to understanding key drivers and outputs at more senior levels, the program breaks down the core concepts and best practices used across the industry.

Participants will learn how financial models support investment decisions, build and analyze operating and non-operating cash flows, model capital expenditures and property transactions, and structure debt within the capital stack. The course also covers how to summarize, analyze, and error-check models while identifying the key levers that drive returns. By the end of the training, attendees will have a practical framework for building clear, effective, and replicable real estate financial models.

Tech Note: The training will be based on Microsoft Excel. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring laptops preloaded with Microsoft Office suite.
