NYU Stern's 1st Annual FinTech Conference

NYU Stern School of Business, known for its academic strength in finance, is expanding its MBA curriculum to prepare students for future jobs in FinTech as the finance industry faces one of the most significant disruptions in its history. As these innovations are affecting both NYU's community as well as the global economy, our first annual FinTech conference will address how the expansion of technological services will challenge our preexisting ideas about how financial institutions should operate. The day will include:

*Faculty presentations on the potential of FinTech and the influence of Blockchain
*Keynote speakers' (Adrienne Harris, NYU Stern MBA '14, and Dan Schulman, NYU Stern MBA '86) insights into the future of the FinTech industry
*Panels led by Stern professors, stacked with business leaders coming from major tech companies, such as CircleUp and EquityNet
*Evening networking reception with representatives from FinTech businesses

Students may purchase a simulcast ticket for $10. With this ticket, students can view a live streaming of the conference in KMC 11-75 from 10:15am-4:30pm. A simulcast ticket will also include entry to see closing keynote speaker, Dan Schulman, in Paulson Auditorium and admittance to the evening networking reception. Lunch will be provided.

With the simulcast ticket, you are free to come and go as you please! You can work around your class schedule to come for as much of the day as you want. We do ask that if you plan on attending Dan Schulman's speech in Paulson Auditorium, that you stay for the duration of this portion of the day.

**Please note: Students who have purchased a Tech Week (http://www.nyusterntechweek.com/) ticket are eligible for entry to the FinTech Conference simulcast room and are not required to additionally purchase a conference ticket. If you have already purchased a conference ticket, but also bought a Tech Week ticket, contact Katie Malen-Gamley (kmalenga@stern.nyu.edu) for information about reimbursement.
