Amanda Bangs

Focus: Sustainable Business & Innovation, Strategy and Technology

Experience: Before Stern, Amanda spent four years in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy & Operations practice. Her consulting work was primarily focused on supply chain transformation and digital innovation. Amanda also served as a pro bono strategy consultant the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation and New York Cares. Amanda is spending her summer with McDonald's as an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow. Amanda graduated from the Business Honors Program at University of Texas with a focus in finance.


Stephanie Noyes

Focus: Sustainable Business & Innovation, Strategy

Experience: Stephanie is a second year MBA candidate. Previously, she was an Army Signal Officer serving in South Korea, upstate NY, Iraq, and Germany. Following her military service she worked at UBS as a Business Continuity Manager. Stephanie is originally from Charleston, Illinois and received her BS in Marketing at Eastern Illinois University. In between her first and second year of the MBA program, Stephanie worked at Deloitte Consulting in their Strategy and Operations Office.

Favorite NYC Activity: Wander new neighborhoods, ideally while riding Citibike when available. All five boroughs have so much culture to experience!


Adam Green
VP of Knowledge Management

Focus: Strategy, Finance, Sustainable Business & Innovation

Experience: This summer, Adam was an MBA at Inspiring Capital, an NYC-based Social Impact consultancy firm. Adam grew up in London and got his Masters in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bristol. Right after graduation, he moved to Tel Aviv, and worked as Head of Mission Analysis for SpaceIL - a Team Competing in the Google Lunar XPrize to land an unmanned spacecraft on the Moon. He was lucky enough to do some Healthcare Social Impact Consulting on the side and found a love for it! Adam went to Stern to make a transition to Social Impact - hopefully into International Development. He's an avid runner, occasional surfer, and a lover of music and gigs.

Sandy Schnur
VP of Knowledgement Management

Focus: Sustainable Business & Innovation, Strategy, Global Business

Experience: Sandy is a second year MBA candidate. She began her career with four years in retail buying prior to spending eight months abroad during which she volunteered, traveled and lived with families teaching English. Upon her return to the US, Sandy began working in the travel industry, managing Operations for an international tour operator and planning and executing private tours around the world.  Sandy is originally from Westchester, New York and received her BA in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. This summer, Sandy worked in consulting at BCG's Miami office.

Favorite NYC Activity: Go on culinary adventures, seeking out the best hole-in-the-wall food shops across the boroughs (often on a mission for the best dumplings around!)

Paige Soffen
VP of Knowledge Management

Focus: Sustainable Sourcing & Supply Chain Managment

Experience: Before Stern Paige worked for five years at the Aspen Institute, a nonpartisan forum for values-based leadership and the exchange of ideas. There she managed a membership program and collaboration platform for chief sustainability officers at Fortune 500 companies. She spent this past summer working at Blue Apron on their Farm Partnerships team within their supply chain. Paige received her BA from Brown University in Human Biology.

Favorite NYC Activity: Try new restaurants in the East Village where I live.

Amy Gu
VP of Langone, VP of Communications

Focus: Sustainable Business & Innovation, Strategy

Experience: Amy is in her second year of the Langone part-time MBA program. She currently works full-time at NYU's Office of Development & Alumni Relations as a Financial & Operations Analyst. Previously, she has worked in project management at Pentagram Design, an independent design firm, and Uncommon Schools, a charter school network that focuses on low-income, urban areas. Amy received her BA in Government from Dartmouth College and is originally from Georgia.

Favorite NYC Activity: Walking around the city neighborhoods, eating everything, and cultural activities ranging from Broadway to street fairs to comedy nights


Miriam Kuritzkes
VP of Internal Relations

Focus: Sustainable Business & Innovation, Finance, Strategy

Experience: Prior to Stern, Miriam worked in the nonprofit sector as an educator. After completing Teach For America, she joined a charter network, Ascend Learning, where she helped to found two new schools and developed a rigorous Humanities curriculum. In that role, Miriam managed the network’s transition to the Common Core Curriculum, partnering with school-based leadership teams and teachers. Miriam received her B.A. in English Literature from Princeton University and holds and Masters Degree in Secondary Education from American University. She spent her summer as a Center for Business and Human Rights fellow at SAP Ariba, working in the Product Innovation and Sustainability group.

Favorite NYC Activity: Work the NYU student discount at museums!

Andrew Chou
VP of Partnerships

Focus: Finance

Experience: Andrew is a native Texan, graduating from UT Austin with a degree in petroleum engineering. After traveling all over rural US and spending a couple years in New Orleans, Andrew came to NYU Stern to pursue an MBA and transition into investment banking. Outside of Stern, Andrew sits on the board of directors for a national queer nonprofit.

Favorite NYC Activity: Rooftop bars and laying out in the park 
Tarun Bhatia
VP of Partnerships

Focus: Strategy, Product Management, Sustainable Business & Innovation

Experience: I grew up in India and prior to joining the MBA program at NYU Stern, spent 3 years as an Engineer in the oil & gas industry in India, and a couple years as a public sector/political consultant in India and East Africa. I was also the Founding Member of a group that worked towards improving citizens’ engagement in policy and last mile delivery of Government programs in India. This summer, I am interning as a Senior Product Manager with Amazon, leveraging my undergraduate background in Electrical Engineering to build a new product for Amazon’s Devices team.

Favorite NYC Activity: I am a big-time foodie, so I love exploring the amazing restaurant scene in New York every chance I get. 
Ben Broderick
VP of Sustainability

Experience: Ben grew up on both sides of the Atlantic, spending many formative years southwest of London, before returning to the States for higher education. He graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Psychology, then naturally spent the 7 years prior to Stern in the music industry. He worked as an artist manager in Brooklyn, NY, driving and supporting the organizations around several singer-songwriters and folk artists, including their philanthropic efforts. He also serves on SGov as the Senator, and as the Head of Content for Follies. Ben spent his summer as part of the internal consulting practice at IBM in New York. He is bad at sitting still and likes to do all of the outdoor activities. 

Vinay Murthy
VP of Academics & Admissions

Focus: Social Impact Investing, Finance & Accounting

Experience: Before Stern, Vinay spent six and a half years in Research & Development for various defense applications including cutting-edge radar and wireless telecommunications.  He spent the past summer as an associate at Macquarie Capital, with a long-term interest in social impact/impact investing.  Vinay graduated from NYU with a bachelor's and master's in electrical engineering.

Favorite NYC Activity: Traveling, meeting people and taking advantage of all the different activities available in/around the city.
Sumedha Mishra
VP of Finance

Focus: Global Business and Strategy

Experience: Sumedha is a current MBA2 with a specialization in the Biotechnology and Biology industries. Prior to Stern she earned her master’s in Biology with a focus on accessibility in the pharmaceutical space. She interned at ITC Infotech USA, a technology and business consulting firm during the summer and hopes to transition into social impact consulting.

Favorite NYC Activity: Read books at the pier and at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building during the winter.
Candice Arner
VP of the Social Impact Internship Fund (SIIF)

Focus: Sustainable Business & Innovation, Finance, Strategy

Experience: After graduating from Princeton University, I worked in the medical device industry for a year and a half, focusing on quality and regulatory filings. I transitioned into retail six years ago and have held various positions in inventory management and profitability planning. While I loved my retail experience and certainly learned a lot about business operations, I decided to go to NYU Stern School of Business to specialize in Social Innovation and Impact so that I can combine my business skills with my passion to help others in the social impact space.

Favorite NYC Activity: Hanging out with my friends and/or dog outside!
EvaRose Dwyer
VP of the Social Innovation Symposium (SIS)

Focus: Social Enterprise, Strategy, Leadership

Experience: EvaRose was a SIIF Fellow working with the internal strategy team at the International Rescue Committee this summer. Prior to coming to Stern she worked in non-profit where she oversaw program development for the youth and community division at New York Road Runners. EvaRose also led the expansion effort that tripped the size of her family’s holistic health business, located in her home state of Rhode Island. She got her BA in Biopsychology from Vassar College and spent two years as a neurobiology research scientist at Rockefeller University after graduating.

Favorite NYC Activity: Run in Prospect Park and along the Brooklyn waterfront and go to UCB for late night comedy.
