This spring, the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights is launching a new Executive-in-Residence (EIR) program. EIR attracts sustainability executives from leading companies that are committed to strengthening human rights and environmental protections in the communities in which they operate. This will be a rare opportunity to learn more about corporate strategies on these issues from a veteran practitioner in the field.

We are excited to welcome Elaine Dorward-King, EVP of Sustainability and External Relations at Newmont as our next executive. Newmont has been named the mining industry leader in overall sustainability by the Dow Jones World Index in 2015 and 2016. The company's five core values include safety, integrity, sustainability, inclusion and responsibility. Please reach out to Nancy Van Way, Candice Arner, Amanda Bangs, Miriam Kuritzkes or Sandy Schnur with any questions you may have about this event.

NOTE: Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
