Join SEA, the NYU Stern CSB and GFA for a career panel on the intersections of finance and sustainability. Hear from four panelists who have navigated 'mainstream' finance career paths while incorporating principles of ESG investing, impact investing, and sustainability over time.

The panel will be moderated by Sophie Rifkin of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business, and there will be time for networking with the panelists at the end.

Devin Taylor is a vice president and investment strategist within the Global Portfolio Solutions and Institutional Investments group at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In this role, he is responsible for the manager selection process and portfolio construction of multi-asset class portfolios that correspond with various investment objectives that implement the strategic and tactical asset allocation. The team also works directly with high net worth and institutional portfolio managers and clients in support of
these portfolios. Devin also provides the integration and delivery of the U.S. Trust internally managed Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Impact Investing solutions.

Previously, Devin was a trust associate, supporting a senior trust officer in all matters relating to account administration, new client on-boarding, and ongoing client retention efforts with high net worth clients.

Prior to joining Bank of America, he was at Hudson Valley Bank, a community bank in Yonkers, NY, where he held roles in credit analysis, lending, and relationship management.
Devin earned his B.A. degree in Geography, minor in Economics from Colgate University and his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from New York UniversityÔÇÖs (NYU) Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He served as a judge in NYU SternÔÇÖs Annual Social Venture
Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the W.R. Berkeley Innovation Lab.

Catie Mayer is the Senior Finance Manager for UnileverÔÇÖs Foods category. In this role, she focuses on the long-term value creation strategy for the portfolio and manages the financial risk profile to deliver on that vision.

Catie has held a number of roles at Unilever, most recently responsible for Brand Development Finance for the Refreshments category. In this role, she led the strategic framework and innovation roadmaps for the Ice Cream and Tea businesses. Prior to Refreshments, Catie spent several years in the Financial Planning & Analysis team, where she managed the forecasting process across the company, working with the US leadership team to understand emerging trends and identify opportunities to drive the financial strength of the business.

Prior to joining Unilever in 2010, Catie worked in Merchandise Planning at MacyÔÇÖs, Inc.

Catie holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an MBA from New York UniversityÔÇÖs Stern School of Business.

Rashmini Yogaratnam is a Managing Director and Global Head of the Underwriting, Distribution, Conflicts and Structured Products Group (UDCS) within CitiÔÇÖs Institutional Clients Group based in New York. Her group comprises the Global and Regional Equity and Fixed Income Commitment Committees; the New Products Approval Committee (NPAC) and the Environmental Social Risk Management team (ESRM). The Commitment Committees approve CitiÔÇÖs underwriting of securities offerings and placements in global capital markets that provide funds for third-party corporate and sovereign issuers (investment-grade and high yield).

Before joining the Risk Management Group in 2003, Ms. Yogaratnam was Co-Head of Latin American Debt Capital Markets within Global Fixed Income in New York. In this capacity, she oversaw a team responsible for origination, structuring and execution of transactions for the firmÔÇÖs Latin American sovereign and private sector clients in the international debt markets. She focused on fundraising for Brazilian issuers from 1994-2002. These transactions included: US-dollar and Euro-denominated commercial paper and public bonds and liability management deals.

Prior to her position in Debt Capital Markets, Ms. Yogaratnam spent ten years structuring and distributing loans and commercial paper issued by major international and U.S. corporations and financial institutions. She joined Citigroup in 1988 after four years at Irving Trust Company. Before beginning her banking career, Ms. Yogaratnam worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York for three years.

Ms. Yogaratnam, a native of Sri Lanka, has also resided in West and Central Africa for nine years and in Europe for four years. She holds a B.A. from Middlebury College, attended the Institut dÔÇÖEtudes Politiques in Paris (ÔÇ£Sciences PoÔÇØ) and received an M.B.A. from New York University. She speaks Portuguese and French fluently and is proficient in Spanish. She enjoys reading, international travel and downhill ski-ing.

Morgan Stanley (Public Finance Group)

Zach Solomon is a Vice President in Morgan StanleyÔÇÖs Public Finance group and leads Morgan StanleyÔÇÖs US Municipal Sustainable Finance practice nationally. In this capacity, Zach is responsible for developing Green Bond and Sustainability Bond frameworks and marketing strategies for municipal and not-for-profit issuers across the United States. His responsibilities also include giving municipal issuers access to Morgan StanleyÔÇÖs leading Investing with Impact wealth management platform. He serves on Morgan StanleyÔÇÖs Global Sustainability Bond Council and as Morgan StanleyÔÇÖs representative to the Executive Committee of the Green Bond Principles Working Group on Social and Sustainability Bonds. Zach is a graduate of Georgetown University and Columbia Business School.
