SGov Philanthropy: Baking Project with God's Love We Deliver

SGov's first Philanthropy event of the year is here + we couldn't be more excited to serve with y'all!! ⭐️🧁 We'll spend the evening working on a Baking Project with God's Love We Deliver, an organization that seeks to improve the health and well-being of people affected by life-altering illnesses by providing medically tailored meals and comprehensive nutrition care and education at no cost to those they serve— always delivered with love.

Shift Overview:
Join our baking team to create delicious desserts that complement our nutritious meal packages. Volunteers assist with tasks such as portioning, packaging, and decorating baked goods. No prior baking experience is necessary—just a willingness to follow instructions and a love for sweet treats!

Dress Code— for safety and hygiene in the kitchen, volunteers must follow these guidelines:
+ Clothing: Wear comfortable, casual clothes that you don’t mind getting a little messy. Shirts must have sleeves; no tank tops or sleeveless shirts are allowed.
+ Shoes: Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required for safety. Sneakers or other sturdy footwear are recommended. No sandals or flip-flops.
+ Accessories: Hair must be tied back and contained within a hairnet. Jewelry should be minimal or removed altogether. Watches, smart watches and fitness trackers must be removed.

Please arrive at 8:45am for check-in and a brief orientation. Our Baking Project will run from 9am-12pm!
