Brave Space Norms: 
Allyship (n.) is the active and consistent practice of unlearning and re-evaluating beliefs and actions, in which a person seeks to work in solidarity with a marginalized individual or group of people.

As a Stern Community, we seek to further develop allyship within ourselves and others by struggling against biases that we internalize. No one is perfect. Systems of oppression can and do show up in our thoughts, actions, and behaviors. We commit to practicing accountability and compassion. 

As a Stern Community, we ask that you embrace our goal of collective development by speaking up to constructively challenge the group on difficult issues, withholding judgement of others, and maintaining privacy of sensitive information.
