Stern Investment Idea Contest

NYU Stern Investment Idea Contest is an opportunity for Stern students to present their investment ideas before a distinguished group of judges.  

This contest is open to all Stern full-time MBA students. Students will present the idea in a 5-minute pitch and 5 minute Q&A in front of judges and other participants at NYU Stern on April 24, 2014 at 5:30pm. 

Judges from firms including Barclays, Bowery, Espial Capital, Federated Global, Incandescent Capital, ING, Steinberg Asset Management and more. Judges will select the best investment idea based on the judges’ determination of the most compelling idea with a 12-month horizon. 

Prizes for the contest include:

(1) Winner will receive a ticket and contest entry to the Sohn Investment Conference; as well as optional publication in Stern Evaluation; 

- Sohn Investment Conference 2014 speakers include William Ackman, David Einhorn, Paul Tudor Jones, Philippe Laffont, Larry Robins, and more.

(2) Second place winner will receive a ticket to the Sohn Investment Conference; 

(3) Top ten remaining entries will have the option to purchase discounted tickets to the Sohn Investment Conference ($50 per ticket). 

Event to be followed by an open bar for all participants, judges, and guests nearby!
