SIMR: Investment Management Boston Trek

SIMR will be organizing its annual all day trek to Boston, targeting Investment Management firms, on Friday October 13th. The participating firms include MFS Investment Management and Eaton Vance Corp. among others.

As part of the trek, students will visit offices of investment management firms during the day, which will be followed by an Alumni Happy Hour. It is an opportunity for students to connect with investment management professionals in Boston, learn their investment processes, and explore potential internship and recruitment opportunities.

Please note that the goal of the trek is to connect with investment management professional and to build a network in the city. Some firms may encourage recruitment queries, some may not, and some may only be interested in summer internship opportunities.

Things to remember:-

1. Number of participants is limited to 20.

2. Students are expected to arrange their transportation and accommodation (if needed for overnight stay in Boston).

3. More specific details about the schedule will be shared with the registered students but the trek is planned to start at 8am and end with Happy Hour in the evening with couple of breaks during the day.
