Bill Coughlin, founder of thew new firm Alchemy Capital Partners, will be coming to speak at Stern. Bill, spent the last ~20 years in private equity at JPM, Aurora Capital, and most recently OMERS Private Equity. He left OMERS Private Equity in order to start Alchemy Capital, a PE firm focused on lower middle market consolidations in the industrials and business services sectors. Bill is uniquely able to speak to the Post-MBA private equity experience on a variety of platforms whether that be a large sovereign pension plan, the typical mature PE firm, large US bank PE platform, or start-up PE firm. Bill will provide his perspective on how different MBA student's should position themselves for a career in PE. Moreover, he will be sharing details about the internship he is hiring for.
