Current MBA students spend much of their time stressing to secure their first "perfect" job - but what about after?

This career panel will feature 4 Stern alumna who have made a career pivot after their first post-MBA job. Students will gain insight into how to make the most of their first job and look ahead to their long-term career goals.

Lunch will be provided and Male Allies are encouraged to attend!

Meet Our Panelists:

Prior to business school she worked as an International Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young LLP where she advised multinational corporations how to structure their business to achieve desired tax savings and operational efficiencies. Her desire to work in a more consumer-driven and creative industry led her to pursue an MBA to tap into the fashion and beauty industry. Upon graduation, she started working at Estee Lauder Companies as part of their Presidential Management Rotational Program. Over the last 4+ years, she has worked in various prestige beauty brands and is currently the Product & Trade Marketing Director at Make Up For Ever where she manages the day-to-day relationship with Sephora for all of North America.

Nikki Carroll (Sr. Consultant Finance Strategy & Operations at Deloitte, MBA 2013): Prior to Business School, Nikki worked at Freddie Mac in Debt Portfolio Management and at Achievement First creating digital learning strategies and researching expansion opportunities for local schools. After her MBA she joined Newark Public Schools to pursue Strategic Planning and then went on to work at Moody's Investor Services. Currently Nikki is a Consultant at Deloitte.

Emily Koh (Director of Strategic Initiatives at Time's Up, MBA 2015): Emily sets the strategy for TIME'S UP Industry Change work and manages TIME'S UP's partnerships with gender equity groups in various fields. Before TIME'S UP, Emily worked in city government at the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS), where she led the team that developed programs to jump-start small businesses in all five boroughs. Prior to SBS, Emily worked at LeanIn.Org, where she led a global community of Lean In Circles and oversaw the development of Circles programs in companies and on campuses around the world.
