A Note for This Final Week

Dear MENA Community,

As we wrap up the semester, we also close the first chapter of something truly special: the founding year of the MENA Club at NYU Stern.

From our welcome gathering last fall to countless social moments, cultural celebrations, and our capstone event MENA Meets, this year has been nothing short of incredible. We've built a space for connection, community, and conversation—and we're just getting started. Check out a few highlights below and especially the major themes of our first professional event.

A heartfelt thank you to Rita Bachkhanji and Omar Shoukry, our inaugural co-presidents, and to every founding board member who poured time, heart, and vision into bringing this club to life. Your leadership has set a powerful foundation for years to come, and we’re honored to carry it forward.

To our graduating MBA2s—congratulations! 🎓 Your energy, insight, and support have helped shape this club from the very beginning. We can't wait to follow all the exciting paths ahead of you.

To everyone else—good luck with finals, group projects, and wrap-ups this week. Whether you're off to internships, travels, or time with loved ones, have a restful, inspiring summer—we’ll see you in the fall, ready for more.
