Impact Investing, Micro-insurance and Financial Access Pioneers: An EMA Lunchtime Roundtable with Leapfrog Investments

The EMA is excited to host a lunchtime roundtable about impact investment, micro-insurance and the future of financial services with Leapfrog Investments co-founder, Dr. Jim Roth and Leapfrog Partner and General Counsel, Tom Brunner.

LeapFrog Investments is a $135 million profit-with-purpose global impact investment fund that was founded to support the development of the rapidly growing micro-insurance and micro-financial services sector. Launched with President Bill Clinton in September 2008, LeapFrog is the preeminent player in its genre and invests in companies that target under-served, individuals who lack regular access to financial services. In June 2012, the Financial Times and the IFC awarded LeapFrog, a special commendation for Sustainable Investor of the Year.
