FOSTER PROVOST is Professor of Data Science, Professor of Information Systems, Andre Meyer Faculty Fellow, and former Director of the Center for Data Science at New York University. For more than 25 years, Foster Provost has helped leaders in business and government understand how data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning technologies can add value. He has designed AI/machine learning systems for the largest companies in the world, worked with the DoD on the application of AI/machine learning to counter-terrorism, has designed the founding data science architectures for several successful startups, and has built multiple award-winning data science teams.

Foster's writing is used widely across the top universities to train data science and business professionals, and his research is read broadly and has won many awards, including (among others) the 2017 European Research Paper of the Year, Best Paper awards in the top research venues across three decades, the 2009 INFORMS Design Science Award from the top professional society for operations research and analytics, IBM Faculty Awards, and a PresidentÔÇÖs Award from NYNEX Science and Technology (now Verizon). He previously was Editor-in-Chief of the journal Machine Learning and was elected as a founding board member of the International Machine Learning Society. Foster stands out in data science for having made substantial contributions across research, business thought leadership, and practical applications.

Professor Dolly Chugh is an Associate Professor in the Management and Organizations Department at New York University Stern School of Business. Her courses include: Managerial Skills, Leadership in Organizations and Collaboration, Conflict, and Negotiation. She teaches in SternÔÇÖs full-time MBA program and the NYU Prison Education Program.

Dolly Chugh's research focuses on unintentional forms of unethical behavior, particularly unconscious bias. She is currently writing a book titled The Person You Mean to Be: Confronting Bias to Build a Better Workplace and World (forthcoming 2018, HarperCollins).

Kathleen DeRose is a Clinical Associate Professor of Finance.

She teaches courses in Foundations of FinTech and Entrepreneurial Finance and spearheads FinTech initiatives at Stern, including FinTech curriculum design, FinTech joint research projects with industry and FinTech events.
Before joining NYU Stern, Professor DeRose was Global Head of Investment Process and subsequently Head of Strategy and Solutions at Credit Suisse, a founding partner and head of Portfolio Management and Research at a New York hedge fund, a Managing Director and head of large capitalization portfolio management at Bessemer Trust and a Managing Director and portfolio manager at Deutsche Bank (successor to Zurich Insurance and Scudder Stevens and Clark). She began her career as an investment analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan).

With over 20 years experience (10 years at Google) working in and around the Tech and Media industry, Kyle is a seasoned veteran. He currently leads GoogleÔÇÖs Media Sales relationships with the Automotive Industry, working with clients to drive sales, improve their Brand, and maximize product launches. Prior to joining the Auto Team, Kyle led Google Fiber's Real Estate Partnership teams. He has also led Google's Media Sales to the Telecom Industry, helping develop marketing solutions based on Google's consumer/customer knowledge and marketing capabilities and Google's North American Sales Strategy and Operations.
Before joining Google, Kyle was a Director of Business Transformation at IBM, leading efforts to increase sales across all of IBM's Business units. Kyle started his career at McKinsey &Co. and JP Morgan, serving technology and telecom clients at both companies. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College, studied at the London School of Economics, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and received an MBA from Dartmouth College.

Robert Seamans, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at New York UniversityÔÇÖs Stern School of Business. Professor Seamans teaches courses such as Strategy and Game Theory.

He recently completed a one year appointment as a Senior Economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers where he worked on a wide range of policies relating to technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. Professor Seamans' research focuses on how technology affects strategic interactions between firms, affects incentives to innovate, and ultimately shapes market outcomes.

Jamyn Edis is the founder and CEO of Dash, a connected car platform (www.dashmobile.co). Jamyn is also a mentor and investor in Techstars, the world's premier technology accelerator, as well as being a participant in the New York 2013 program.
He has over 15 years of experience in strategy, product development, partnerships, finance and marketing.
