EMSA's annual Broadway Case Competition brings together Sternies to address a pressing business question by selecting current Broadway shows and presenting strategic solutions in response. This day brings together producers, industry executives, and creative strategists to solve real challenges facing Broadway today.
EMSA hosts an additional case competition each spring focused on a prompt within the media, entertainment, and sports industry. The 2026 Spring Case Competition, in partnership with MSG Entertainment, gathered over 30 Sternies to solve a challenging business question related to live sports attendance and engagement.
In addition to local case competitions, EMSA students also compete in external case competitions like the MBA Media and Entertainment Case Competition co-hosted by UCLA and Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles each spring.
