The bi-annual SIMR Langone Stock Pitch Competition sponsored by S&P Global Market Intelligence took place in the Spring 2017 semester. Student-led research teams presented their stock picks to a panel of judges. Judges were industry experts in Investment Management and Research.
Each team was allotted 10 minutes for the stock pitch and 10 minutes of Q&A. Guest judges rated each pitch on various criteria and provided feedback to the teams. Attendees had an opportunity to network with judges, a couple of whom were recent alums from the Langone program, and shared their unique recruiting experiences.
SIMR's Langone Stern Investment Club is a Langone student run investment club with a twofold mission: to help students and alumni improve their investing abilities and switch careers to investment management and securities research.
