Anjula Acharia is a strategic investor and advisor to leading consumer and tech brands, including ClassPass, Bumble, Vital Proteins, Phia, SpaceX, Health-Ade, Skinny Dipped, Olipop, and others, with multiple early-stage investments scaling into category-defining companies.
She co-founded DesiHits!, a pioneering platform that introduced Western artists to Indian audiences years before global crossover became mainstream. She is also the long-time manager of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, playing a pivotal role in launching her U.S. career and global ascent.

Retired Chief Executive Officer of Barclaycard & Stern alum
Amer Sajed was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Barclaycard, the global consumer payments business of the Barclays Banking Group, in May 2015.
Prior to his appointment as CEO for Barclaycard, Amer served as Chief Executive Officer for Barclaycard US, the payments arm of Barclays in the United States. During his five years leading the US business it doubled in size to rank as one of the top ten credit card companies nationally.
Before coming to Barclaycard, Amer worked at Citigroup for 20 years in various roles, most recently overseeing the Travel & Affluent credit card segment.

Chief Operating Officer, Wealth Management, TIAA
Rashmi Badwe is the Chief Operating Officer for Wealth Management at TIAA, a Fortune 500 financial services organization. Ms. Badwe has been included in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women, recognized as a Woman to Watch by Investment News (2025) and the Asian American Business Development Center’s “Outstanding 50” Asian-American Leaders (2025). Ms. Badwe regularly speaks at global and industry events, including at Fortune COO Summit and the IWF (International Women’s Forum) Global Summit.
Prior to TIAA, she held senior roles at JPMorgan Chase and began her career in Deloitte Consulting’s financial services strategy practice. Originally from Mumbai, she holds BE and MS degrees from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India. Rashmi earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 1999.

Pooja Bavishi is the Founder and CEO of Malai, an acclaimed ice cream company that infuses traditional South Asian ingredients into its innovative flavors. Inspired by the spices of her childhood — ginger, rose petals, saffron, and cardamom — Pooja founded Malai to offer a unique ice cream experience that blends rich cultural heritage with a delightful treat.
Pooja earned the title of “Champion” on Food Network’s Chopped Sweets in March 2020. She holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business. Pooja was also named a 2018 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow and recognized as one of Inc. Magazine’s Female Founders 100 in October 2020.

Founder of INDAY
Basu Ratnam launched INDAY, an Indian-inspired counter-service spot based in New York City. INDAY’s menu incorporates home-cooked recipes from Basu’s Kolkata-born mother and Hyderabadi father with newer interpretations of classic dishes. Basu previously worked in finance at Bain & Company and Sycamore Partners, focusing on acquiring retail and clothing companies in addition to food businesses.

First Sikh American chef to lead a Michelin-starred kitchen
Jassimran Singh was born in New Delhi, India. After graduating, Jassimran spent time in the kitchens at Maze by Gordon Ramsay and No. 8 by John Lawson at Crown. In 2014, Jassimran moved to New York where he was hired as Sous Chef at The NoMad working under then Executive Chef Jamal James Kent.
In 2018, Kent tapped Jassimran to lead the kitchen at Crown Shy as Chef de Cuisine. Subsequently, Jassimran oversaw the kitchens at both Crown Shy and Saga as the culinary director of the restaurants at 70 Pine before being elevated to the role of chef partner at Crown Shy.

Chief Financial Officer at Rent the Runway
Sid Thacker has been the Chief Financial Officer of Rent the Runway since May 2023. Prior to that, he served as the Company’s Senior Vice President, FP&A from July 2022 to May 2023.
Mr. Thacker spent 20 years as a public market investor, including as Founder and CIO of Signpost Capital Advisors. Prior to Signpost, Mr. Thacker was a Portfolio Manager at Citadel and a Sector Head at Ziff Brothers Investments. He began his career at McKinsey & Company.
Mr. Thacker has a BA with Highest Honors in Economics from Oberlin College and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

It is from this deeply personal journey that Delhi-born Priyanka Ganjoo discovered wearing makeup at 25 years old, experimenting with colorful looks, while in college and away from home. Falling into the corporate side of beauty with no prior experience in the industry, Priyanka spent the next five years of her career learning the beauty industry and seeing first-hand how South Asians were being underrepresented. Constantly searching for products that matched her skin tone and tired of feeling like an outsider in the industry, Ganjoo set out to create a more inclusive beauty conversation.
In 2021, Ganjoo launched Kulfi, a beauty brand centered around joy, play, and celebrating South Asian beauty rooted in culture. The first South Asian-inspired and owned makeup brand to launch at Sephora, Kulfi continues to create a dynamic community of beauty lovers and trailblazers with no signs of slowing down.

Jessel Taank is a British-Indian television personality, entrepreneur, and cultural commentator best known for her breakout role on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City. Joining the series in 2023 during its highly anticipated reboot, she quickly became a fan favorite, offering sharp wit, viral one-liners, emotional depth, and a fresh perspective to one of television’s most iconic franchises.

Maneet Ahuja is an award-winning journalist, author and Editor-at-Large at Forbes, where she covers the intersection of Wall Street, billionaires & entrepreneurial capitalism. She is also the Founder of ICONOCLAST, Forbes' premier global investor summit convening the world’s most iconic titans, visionaries, philanthropists, and changemakers.

Aetherflux Founder and CEO & Robinhood Co-Founder
Baiju Bhatt founded the industry disrupting platform Robinhood alongside his Stanford University classmate Vlad Tenev in 2013 and served as its co-chief executive until 2020.
Intended to "democratize finance for all," Robinhood's no-fee, gamified approach to investing made capital markets more accessible than ever. The company currently has a market capitalization of approximately $105 billion, serves 26.9 million funded customers, and reports $325 billion in total platform assets.

Dean of NYU Stern
Bharat N. Anand joined NYU Stern in August 2025, formerly serving as vice provost at Harvard University and a chaired professor and renowned digital strategy professor at Harvard Business School (HBS). At Harvard, Anand helped digitize learning through helping launch HBS Online and convening the university-wide task force on the future of learning.
